Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a Degree in Law from a recognized University. The accepted qualification includes a 5-year integrated law course after 10+2 or a 3-year law degree after graduation. The notification also states that the candidate should have passed the Law Degree within 2 years immediately preceding the date of notification. Final-year students of 5-year or 3-year law courses are also eligible, subject to producing proof of qualification before joining.

As per the notification, the candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st January/1st July preceding the last date fixed for submission of applications. The applicant must also be a citizen of India.

Fill in all required details carefully and attach attested copies of documents related to age and educational qualification. After completing the form, send it by Registered Post or Speed Post to the address mentioned in the notification.

The postal address for submission is: The Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of A.P. at Amaravati, Nelapadu, Guntur District, A.P., PIN Code – 522239. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Law Clerk”. Candidates must ensure that the application reaches the office on or before 04-08-2026 by 5:00 P.M. The High Court will not be responsible for postal delays.

The assignment is normally for one year and may be extended up to a maximum of four years with approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
