The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Notification No. 08/2026 for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer in the A.P. Pollution Control Board. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering. Candidates with Sections A and B of AMIE (India) Civil are also eligible. The qualification must have been obtained on or before 2026-10-06, which is the date of the detailed notification. The notice does not mention any work experience requirement.

How to Apply for APPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates must complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) first, but OTPR alone is not treated as an application. After registration, applicants should log in to the APPSC website, fill in the online form, upload the required details, and pay the applicable fee before the closing date. The application is considered complete only after Save & Submit and successful fee payment.
Applicants should note that after payment, name, fee and age-relaxation fields cannot be edited. Other corrections are allowed only within 7 days after the last date, and a correction fee of ₹100 per change applies. Candidates are advised to keep all documents ready before starting the online process.
