Vacancy Details

The recruitment notice includes 14 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (Medic), 12 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician) and 8 vacancies for Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist). All posts are to be filled on deputation basis under the BSF Medical Directorate.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility differs according to the post. For all positions, candidates should be officers from Central Armed Police Forces, Central Government, State Government or Union Territory Administration holding an analogous post on a regular basis, or having six years of regular service in Level-5. For Sub-Inspector (Medic), applicants must have Basic/Advance Nursing Assistant or Medic course qualification and at least six years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in a hundred-bedded hospital or recognised institute. For Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician), candidates must have passed Class 12 and hold a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician/Technology from a recognised institute, along with six years of relevant experience. For Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist), candidates must have passed Class 12 and hold a two-year Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognised institute, along with six years of relevant experience. All candidates must be medically fit.

How to Apply

Applications must be routed through the proper channel from the parent cadre or department. Candidates need to attach duly attested CR dossiers or APARs for the last five years, bio-data in the prescribed proforma, and an employer or head of office certificate confirming integrity, medical category and the absence of disciplinary or vigilance cases. The completed nomination should be sent by post to the Inspector General/Director (Medical), Directorate General, BSF, Block No. 9, Level-04, East Block, Sector-1, R K Puram, New Delhi-110066. Ensure that the nomination reaches the office on or before the closing date.
