Candidates must have passed 10+2 preferably with Science from a recognized Board of School Education. In addition, applicants should possess either an 'A' Grade Nursing qualification (Diploma in GNM) or a B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized University or Institution. The recruitment is intended for nursing candidates who meet the prescribed educational requirements and are willing to serve in Himachal Pradesh, including interior and tribal areas.

How to Apply

This recruitment is not a fully direct online application process. Candidates must be sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange and follow the instructions issued by the Directorate of Health Services, Himachal Pradesh. For non-tribal areas, the names must be sponsored by 2026-07-25, while for tribal areas the deadline is 2026-07-30. Applicants should ensure that their names and particulars reach the Health and Family Welfare Directorate, Shimla-9, as instructed in the notification.

At the time of counseling, candidates must carry original educational certificates, degree or diploma documents, and attested photocopies. A valid character certificate issued by the Executive Magistrate is also required. Reserved category candidates must produce original caste or category certificates such as SC, ST, OBC, IRDP, BPL or EWS, wherever applicable. The date, time and venue of counseling will be communicated through call letters issued by the Director Health Services, Himachal Pradesh.
