Doordarshan Kendra (DDK), Kolkata, under Prasar Bharati, has released a notice for empanelment of casual assignees in nine categories. This is an assignment-based panel and not a regular employment opportunity. Candidates selected through the process will be booked only when programme requirements arise at DDK Kolkata, Golf Green, Kolkata.

Eligibility

The notice lists different educational and skill requirements for each category. Archive Assistant requires BA/B.Sc/B.Com with MS Excel and knowledge of Bengali and English. Post Production Assistant (Graphics) needs a degree or diploma in Multimedia Animation or Motion Graphics. Post Production Assistant (Editing) requires a professional degree or diploma in video editing with current software knowledge. Video Assistant requires a professional degree or diploma in Videography or Motion Picture Photography.

For Social Media Editor, candidates must have BA/B.Sc/B.Com along with a degree or diploma in Media Science, Multimedia and Animation, or Digital Marketing, plus one year of professional social-media or digital-marketing experience in a media house. C.G. Operator requires BA/B.Sc/B.Com and Bengali typing speed of at least 30 words per minute. Resource Person (Programme) requires Class XII with three years of TV or Doordarshan programme production and coordination experience, or graduation with a professional diploma in Radio and TV Programme Production, Mass Communication, or Journalism. Resource Person (Lighting Assistant) follows the same route and also requires film or TV lighting experience. Broadcast Assistant (Commercial) requires B.Com with computer proficiency.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must apply only through the Google Form link mentioned in the official notice. The application must be submitted on or before 16 October 2026, 6:00 PM. Applicants can apply for only one category, and duplicate applications for another category will be rejected. The notice also states that this is not employment and does not guarantee a fixed number of bookings.
