Eligibility Criteria
For the Trade Apprentice category, applicants must have passed ITI in the prescribed trades from an NCVT/SCVT-recognised institution. The trades mentioned in the notice are Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, Draughtsman Engineering (Mechanical), and Grinder. The advertisement also states that candidates must have secured 70% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 and above in the qualifying examination from the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Only Indian nationals are eligible. The minimum age is 18 years as on 2026-09-01. The notice also says that candidates with a higher qualification than the one prescribed for the chosen category are not eligible. Those who have already completed apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship, or have more than one year of work experience are also not eligible.

Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice candidates must apply through NATS 2.0 using Enrolment ID STLRAC000010. Trade Apprentice candidates must apply through Apprenticeship India using Establishment ID E05203600040. The notification clearly states that registration on the wrong portal will not be treated as a valid application. Candidates should complete the application process early and keep all academic and identity documents ready for verification.
