The notification includes the following post-wise vacancies: ANM - 05 posts, Multipurpose Health Worker (Male)/Health Inspector Gr-II - 04 posts, Laboratory Technicians - 07 posts, TB Health Visitor (TB HV) - 04 posts, and DRTB Counselor - 01 post.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the educational and experience requirements prescribed for each post. For ANM, candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination and completed a two-year ANM course conducted by DPH-approved institutions recognised by the Nursing Council. For Multipurpose Health Worker (Male)/Health Inspector Gr-II, candidates must have passed Plus Two with Biology or Botany and Zoology, passed Tamil as a subject in SSLC, and completed a two-year MPHW/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector course from a recognised institution.

For Laboratory Technician, the required qualification is Intermediate (10+2) along with a Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with one year of experience in NTEP or sputum smear microscopy, and higher qualifications such as graduation are also preferred. For TB Health Visitor (TB HV), candidates must be a graduate in science or have passed 10+2 in science with experience in MPHW/LHV/ANM/Health worker roles or a higher course in health education/counselling, along with a certificate course in computer operations of at least two months.

For DRTB Counselor, the essential qualification is a graduate degree in Sociology, Social Work, or Psychology. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree or PG Diploma in the same subjects, experience in NTEP or counselling work, and basic computer knowledge.
