Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech. or MCA in relevant disciplines from a recognised University or Institute. The notification also mentions post-wise educational requirements for different forensic specialisations such as DNA, Fingerprint, Chemistry, Ballistics & Toolmarks, Questioned Documents, Photography and Cyber Forensic. The age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 2026-08-01, with a relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC candidates.
