The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the Constable (Driver) recruitment rulebook for the Police Headquarters, Home (Police) Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. This recruitment drive is for male candidates only and offers a total of 1,000 vacancies across the Special Armed Force and District Police Force. Interested and eligible applicants can submit their online forms through the MP Online portal from 15 October 2026 to 29 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold the required educational qualification and a valid heavy vehicle driving licence on or before the last date of application. For UR, SC and OBC candidates, the minimum qualification is Class 10 / Higher Secondary. For ST candidates, the printed minimum qualification is Class 8 or equivalent. The recruitment rulebook is applicable to male candidates only, and the driving licence requirement is mandatory for every applicant.

Age will be calculated as on 29 October 2026. The minimum age is 18 years. For unreserved and EWS male candidates, the upper age limit is 33 years. For Madhya Pradesh SC, ST and OBC male candidates, the upper age limit is 38 years. Certain other categories mentioned in the rulebook also receive age relaxation as per the official rules. Candidates from other states can apply only against unreserved open seats and will not get reservation benefits or age relaxation.

Eligible candidates should visit the MPESB exam list on the MP Online portal and complete the application form within the given dates. Before submitting the form, applicants must carefully check their personal details, educational qualification, category information, and driving licence details. Since the recruitment is for a driver post, the heavy vehicle driving licence must be valid on the last date of application. Candidates should also keep scanned copies of the required documents, photograph, and signature ready for upload.

After submitting the form, candidates should save the application confirmation for future reference. The rulebook also mentions a correction window, so applicants should review the form carefully and make corrections within the permitted period if needed.
