The Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur has announced a fresh recruitment drive for Stenographer Grade-III (Hindi/English) posts in 2026. This notification offers a total of 163 vacancies across district courts and legal service authorities in Rajasthan. Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) in Arts, Science, or Commerce from the Rajasthan Board or an equivalent recognised board. In addition, candidates should have knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and must possess a valid computer qualification such as DOEACC O Level or higher, COPA/DPCS, Diploma in Computer Science/Application, RSCIT, or an equivalent certificate.

The recruitment includes multiple post categories such as Stenographer Grade-III (Hindi/English) for District Courts and Stenographer Grade-II (Hindi) for District Legal Service Authorities including PLAs. Selection Process

The selection process includes a shorthand test, a computer test, and a qualifying interview. For English shorthand, the dictation speed is 80 words per minute, while for Hindi shorthand it is 70 words per minute. The computer test is compulsory for all shortlisted candidates and includes speed and efficiency components. The interview is qualifying in nature and carries no marks.

Merit will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the shorthand test and computer test. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher shorthand marks will be placed higher, and if the tie still remains, the older candidate will get preference.
