Eligibility Criteria
For the Port Planning Expert role, candidates should have B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering along with chartered or internationally accepted civil-engineering recognition and at least 15 years of experience in a major container port. For the Port Related Logistics Expert role, applicants must hold a PG Diploma or PG degree in Supply Chain Management, Port & Logistics Management, Port & Shipping Management, or Shipping Logistics, with 15 years of experience in port logistics. For the Transport Planner Expert role, candidates should possess B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Transport Engineering, 5 years of sector experience, and 3 completed projects of similar size as defined in the notice.
The notice also states that applicants must be 60 years of age or below on the date of submission. RITES has clarified that qualification equivalence will be decided based on the documents submitted, and candidates should not assume any unlisted discipline as equivalent unless confirmed by the organisation.

The subject line should read: “Empanelment of Experts for Preparation of a Land Use Optimisation Study for the Port of Colombo.” Applicants must ensure that all required forms and supporting documents are attached, every page is signed in indelible ink, and corrections are properly initialled.
Applications missing Form-I, Form-II, Form-III, or the required supporting documents may be rejected without further consideration. The notice also requires a passport copy and the last three filed income-tax returns for Form-II.
