SEBI Young Professional Program 2026
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is inviting online applications from motivated young professionals for its Young Professional Program (YPP) 2026. This program offers a total of 91 positions across various domains, including:
- Securities Market Operations - 40 Positions
- Law - 13 Positions
- Research - 4 Positions
- Information Technology - 29 Positions
- Rajbasha - 5 Positions
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹70,000 (all inclusive) and will have the opportunity to work on projects at the SEBI Head Office located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following qualifications based on the domain:
- Securities Market Operations: Post Graduate in Management (Finance) with 60% marks OR CA/CS/CMA with 55% marks OR CFA (USA – all 3 levels). Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in the financial sector.
- Law: Bachelor’s Degree in Law with minimum 60% marks. Minimum 1 year experience in corporate/securities laws, preferably in the financial/investment sector.
- Research: Post Graduate in Finance/Economics/Commerce/Econometrics/Applied Statistics with minimum 60% marks. Minimum 1 year research/work experience in financial markets (Ph.D. candidates are exempt from the experience requirement).
- Information Technology: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/Electronics) OR MCA/MSc/M.Tech/MBA (Systems/Analytics) with minimum 60% marks. Minimum 1 year experience in software development or cyber security.
- Rajbasha: Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation or relevant subjects with Hindi/English combination. Minimum 1 year experience with knowledge of Hindi typing.
