BEE Delhi Sector Expert & Project Engineer Recruitment 2026

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a body corporate under the Ministry of Power, has released a contractual recruitment notice for 5 posts in New Delhi. The vacancies include 4 Sector Expert positions across different divisions and 1 Project Engineer post for NECA. Interested and eligible candidates must apply offline using Annexure-I and ensure that the application reaches BEE on or before 2026-11-17.

Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment notice specifies different educational and experience requirements for each seat. For Sector Expert posts, candidates must have the prescribed bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade, along with the relevant postgraduate qualification and domain experience. For the Project Engineer post, a B.E./B.Tech degree with 60% marks or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience is required.

• Sector Expert (S&L Division): B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent, plus M.E./M.Tech or PG in Energy Planning, Energy Management, Sustainable Energy, Environmental Studies or Environmental Science, and 5 years’ experience in appliance standards and energy savings.
• Sector Expert (ADEETIE): Same engineering and postgraduate route, with 5 years’ post-qualification experience in MSME-related work.
• Sector Expert (ECSBC/Buildings): B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch with 60% or equivalent, plus the relevant PG qualification and 5 years’ experience in ECBC, building energy simulation or green-building ratings.
• Sector Expert (Artificial Intelligence): B.E./B.Tech or Computer Science bachelor’s degree with 60% or equivalent, or allied discipline as printed, plus PG in Engineering/Computer Science/AI & ML/Data Analytics, and 5 years’ experience in AI or data analytics for the energy sector.
• Project Engineer (NECA): B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in conducting examinations and in energy management or auditing.

Candidates should download Annexure-I from the official BEE vacancy circular, fill in the required details carefully, and attach two passport-size photographs, educational certificates, and domain experience certificates. The completed application should be sent by post to the Secretary, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, 4th Floor, Sewa Bhawan, R.K. Puram, Sector-1, New Delhi – 110066. Incomplete applications or applications received after the closing date are liable to be rejected.
