CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2026 for Project Associate-I, Project Scientist-III and Project Assistant-II

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) has released a recruitment notification for 8 temporary project-based vacancies in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. The available posts include Project Associate-I, Project Scientist-III, and Project Assistant-II. Interested and eligible candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 28 October 2026 at the CSIR-IIIM campus on Canal Road, Jammu.

Vacancy Details

The notification includes 8 posts in total. Six vacancies are for Project Associate-I under different position codes, one vacancy is for Project Scientist-III, and one vacancy is for Project Assistant-II. All posts are project-linked and will be filled through direct interview only.

Eligibility Criteria

For Project Associate-I (Position Codes 01 to 06), candidates should have a Master's degree in Science such as Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry, or a B.Tech degree in Biochemical Engineering or Biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates with NET or GATE qualification are eligible for higher pay.

For Project Scientist-III (Position Code 07), applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Pharmacology or Biotechnology and must have at least 7 years of research and development experience.

For Project Assistant-II (Position Code 08), the required qualification is a Bachelor's degree with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

How to Apply for CSIR-IIIM Recruitment 2026

Candidates do not need to submit an online or postal application for this recruitment. The selection process is based on a walk-in interview, so eligible applicants must appear in person at the venue on the scheduled date. Candidates should carry the duly filled Annexure-I application form along with original documents and self-attested copies of educational certificates, date of birth proof, caste or age relaxation certificate if applicable, and a No Objection Certificate if they are already engaged in any CSIR-IIIM project.

Applicants should reach the venue well before the interview time and ensure that all documents are complete. The institute has clearly stated that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. If the number of applicants is large, the Screening and Selection Committee may revise the screening criteria.
