Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released a recruitment notification for Junior Executive posts on a short-term fixed-term basis. This is a strong opportunity for engineering graduates looking for a central government sector job in aerospace and defence, with postings across Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Hyderabad, Nasik, Koraput, Barrackpore, Lucknow, Kanpur and Korwa, along with other HAL divisions.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Indian nationals with a regular full-time engineering degree or technology degree in the relevant discipline. The notification also allows a 5-year or 6-year integrated degree in the relevant branch. Distance learning, correspondence, part-time and e-learning qualifications are not eligible. Candidates must apply only for one discipline, and the branch mentioned in the degree certificate must match the discipline requirements listed in the official advertisement.
The minimum aggregate marks required are 60% for UR, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates, and 50% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. For degrees awarded in CGPA or letter grade, candidates must use the university’s equivalent percentage and carry the conversion certificate at the time of interview.

How to Apply for HAL Junior Executive Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates must apply online through the Careers section of the official HAL website. The application window remains open from 07 October 2026, 2:00 PM to 17 October 2026, 2:00 PM. Candidates should complete the form carefully, choose only one discipline, upload the required documents, and pay the applicable fee through SBI Collect if they belong to UR, OBC-NCL or EWS categories. SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee.
After submission, the application cannot be edited. Fee payment for UR, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates may take 48 to 72 hours to validate, so applicants should not wait until the final hours. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview based on degree marks in a 1:10 ratio.
