Eligibility Criteria

The rulebook states that this recruitment is for male candidates only. For UR, SC and OBC candidates, the minimum qualification is Class 10 or Higher Secondary in any stream. For ST candidates, the printed minimum qualification is Class 8 or equivalent. In all cases, a valid heavy vehicle driving licence is mandatory and must be available by the last date of application. A light motor vehicle licence does not replace the heavy vehicle licence requirement.

Age will be calculated as on 29 October 2026. The minimum age is 18 years. For unreserved and EWS male candidates, the upper age limit is 33 years. For MP SC, ST and OBC male candidates, the upper age limit is 38 years. The rulebook also mentions specific relaxations for certain categories such as ex-servicemen and Home Guard candidates, subject to the conditions printed in the notice.
