Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Research Associate-I post must meet the prescribed educational and research requirements mentioned in the notification. The advertisement allows two eligible routes. First, applicants may hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology or Forensic Science. Second, candidates with an M.Pharm degree and at least 3 years of research, teaching, and design & development experience after M.Pharm may also apply. In both cases, the candidate must have at least one research paper published in an SCI journal with an Impact Factor greater than 1.0.
The upper age limit is 35 years. Relaxation is applicable up to 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates, as per the notification.
