Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess MBBS with MD/MS, or DM/MCh for super-speciality disciplines, along with the required teaching experience for the applied post. The notice states that Professor posts require 14 years of teaching experience, Additional Professor posts require 10 years, Associate Professor posts require 6 years, and Assistant Professor posts require 3 years. Experience is counted after the qualifying degree, and eligibility is assessed as on 2026-11-14.
Indian nationals and OCI cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 may apply. Retired faculty from Institutes of National Importance or Government Medical Colleges may also apply for certain contractual consultant posts, subject to the age limit mentioned in the notification.

How to Apply for AIIMS Gorakhpur Faculty Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates must fill the application in the prescribed proforma, attach the required photograph and signature, and submit the online Google Form along with the supporting documents. After completing the online part, applicants must send the signed hard-copy application set by Speed Post or Registered Post to the Recruitment Cell, AIIMS Gorakhpur, Administrative Block, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur - 273008. The envelope should be superscribed with the post name. Separate applications and fees are required for each post applied for.
Applicants should also prepare the required annexures and self-attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, registration documents and other supporting papers as mentioned in the official notice. The institute has clearly stated that the application will be treated as incomplete if the hard copy is not received by the last date.
