District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Purba Bardhaman, under the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, has invited online applications for contractual engagement in the district’s public healthcare system. This recruitment drive offers 27 vacancies for Staff Nurse and Block Data Manager posts across health facilities in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. Vacancy Details and Eligibility

The notification includes 6 vacancies for Block Data Manager and 21 vacancies for Staff Nurse. For Block Data Manager, candidates must be graduates with at least a 1-year Diploma in Computer Application from a government-registered institution, along with working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and the internet. Applicants must also have relevant experience in data recording and data analysis, and must be able to read, write and speak Bengali. For Staff Nurse, candidates must have completed GNM training from an institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or West Bengal Nursing Council, or hold a B.Sc. Nursing degree, along with valid registration under the West Bengal Nursing Council and proficiency in Bengali.

Only permanent residents of West Bengal are eligible to apply. The essential qualification must be completed on or before the last date of application. The recruitment is purely contractual, and the initial engagement is up to March 2027, subject to renewal based on performance and approval from the competent authority.
